На основе предположения, что вариации сейсмической активности вызываются преимущественно колебаниями скорости движения литосферных плит, и анализа обнаруженной ранее годовой периодичности слабых (с магнитудой М<5.0)землетрясений получена оценка внутригодовой неравномерности этого движения: ∆v ≈ ±0.15 V CP , где V CP – средняя скорость плит в течение года.

On the basis of the supposition, that variations of seismic activity are mainly caused by oscillations of the velocity of motion of the lithosphere plates, and from analysis of the annual periodicity of the weak (magnitude M < 5.0) earthquakes, discovered earlier, we obtained the estimate of the annual irrigularity of the plate motion: ∆V ± 0.15 Vm, where Vm is the mean relative velocity of the adjoined plates during a year.
