About the mode of movement of the pole of the Earth on to the data for period 1962–2007

Abstract

Submission of full determinancy motion poles of the Earth over the past decade is questionable. The reason for doubt is the impossibility of constructing a long-term prognosis. Basic restrictions in the problem of long-term projection rotation of the Earth does not currently exist. IERS data for the period 1962–2007 to study the poles of the Earth’s motion were used. Analysis of graphs polody especially in changing Pole coordinates X, Y at the selected intervals along the axis of time reveals. Analysis of data on the interval from 2003 to 2006 detail is given. Model chandlerovskogo and annual fluctuations built. Offset instantaneous pole on the phase plane and Poincare plane is investigated. Signs of a chaotic motion (alternation) found. Interval appearances features calculated. Dates of singularities in the motion of poles of instantaneous Earth compared to the changes length of day (LOD).
