Abstract

The article presents research results on the effectivity of optical channels of a laser satellite ranger (LSR) Simeiz-1873. The perspective modification of an optical system which enables to increase significantly the effectivity of station operation is suggested. The tehnique of location of satellites simultaneously at two wavelengths: 532 nm and 1064 nm is considered as well as technique of control of the usable receiving aperture of the telescope.
