Variations of spectral characteristics of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 3227 nucleus in 1967–2009

Abstract

The paper presents results of studying spectral emission characteristics of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 3227 nucleus at different epochs of its activity. We used spectral data obtained by different investigators with different telescopes. It was shown the sufficient variation of equivalent widths (EWλ), widths of the Balmer line profiles over 40 years. The obtained results can serve as an evidence in favor of evolutional variations of the galaxy NGC 3227 nucleus over the period from 1967 to 2009.
